Our Story

Hello traveler, soon to be friend. We are Mikel and Irena, hoping to be your next hosts. First things first, we think we have the only hostel in the world that is named after a dog. Tia is the living legend, the Queen of Green Garden Hostel, our home in Shkoder where we have accommodated travelers like yourself since 2015. Tia’s is a new hostel located in a former high school amongst the beautiful mountains of Shkoder, in northern Albania. We renovated the building but kept the spirit of community, mischief and fun.
